In order to find Solitude Pointe Cabins and RV Park, you must spend some time on Hwy 11, also known as the Cherokee Foothills Byway or Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway. Stretching from the South Carolina/ Georgia line at I-85 Exit 1, all the way around the uppermost part of South Carolina and back to I-85 in Gaffney, it is 120 miles of scenic beauty. And Solitude Pointe has the distinct pleasure of being located right in the middle – 60 miles from either end. Staying with us means you can take a day trip in either direction to see breathtaking mountain views, gorgeous waterfalls, historical battlefields and quaint little towns full of southern charm. There is something for everyone on Hwy 11. And after a long day of hiking and exploring, Solitude Pointe offers the perfect resting place. Bring your own RV and listen to the whippoorwills around a quiet, peaceful campfire or rent one of our luxurious cabins and relax in your own hot tub.
The TR Tribune has done a wonderful job in their article Day Tripping: Cherokee Foothills Byway. Check it out below and then call us to make your reservations. You’ll be glad you did. At some Pointe, everyone does need Solitude!
