Caesars Head State Park

The view from the Outlook is stunning, the gift shop is nice with charming gift ideas, and there are places to sit and enjoy the view with your family while you eat your lunch or dinner.

Even though the clouds were lower and we could see but a few feet in front of us, we love it! The drive was so gorgeous and a little eerie, such a wonderful day trip. Already planning to be back next month for the Fall colors.

A jaw dropping view. The photos fail to capture the depth and vista. You get a great viewpoint of the surrounding mountains such as Table Rock and Paris Mountain. Not much of a hike. More of a scenic observation platform. You must drive to the end of the parking lot to find the overlook. Devil's Stairs run into the mountain if you choose. There are longer trails a short drive away.
